Hovering

Perching on a dreamer’s head

No biology

Pulse races, sweat drips

Permeating skin

All laws defined

Contradicted

Controlled breath

Shallow evidence

Doubting minds

Constricting

Denouncing

The presence

Of another

Denying

The essence

Of terror
